RULES
CONCERNING ADMISSION:
-
A
student who has passed the SSC Examination conducted by
the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary
Education, in the subjects of English, Mathematics, Social
Science, Science and other languages carrying 200 marks
or an examination recognized equivalent thereto will be
eligible for admission to the FYJC class. Admission to
FYJC class will start after the declaration of the SSC
Examination results of the Maharashtra Board.

A student who has passed the FYJC Examination will be eligible
for admission to the SYJC class.
- For admission
to any class it is necessary to produce in original:
a) The passing certificate of the last examination passed.
b) Statement of Marks.
c) Leaving Certificate in the case of students coming from
other Boards.
d) Transference Certificate in the case of students coming
from other Boards.
e) Eligibility Certificate in the case of students passing
an examination other than the
SSC Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary
Education or an
examination of any Board other than Maharashtra Boards,
as the case may be.
- Admissions
are provisional until final Eligibility Certificate / Transfer
Certificate is
submitted to the College.
- Repeaters
will not be admitted.
- A student
of any other college affiliated to Mumbai Board seeking
admission to SY JC class will have to submit NOC from the
respective college in addition to the above mentioned documents.
PAYMENT
OF FEES
- The
fees shall be paid in cash only.
- Students
belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes, the E.B.C. may apply
for Govt. Scholarship, Free Studentship as per notice issued
by the Principal in that connection.
RULES REGARDING REFUND OF FEES
(JUNIOR COLLEGE)

If a student informs the institution before the commencement
of the academic year that he/she wants to withdraw and
he/she cannot continue his/her education in the same institution
for any reason, the institution will refund the tuition
fee, term fee, computer fee and computer and library deposits,
if any actually recovered from the student, in full. The
admission fee would, however, be retained by the Institution.

If a student desires to withdraw and applies for refund
of fees after the commencement of the academic year, the
institution will retain the admission fee, term fee, computer
fee, if any in full as also the proportionate amount of
the tuition fee till the end of the month in which the
refund is claimed. The remaining amount of tuition fee,
if any will be refunded. For example, if a student applies
for refund of fee in the month of July after the academic
year has started he/she will be entitled for refund of
proportionate amount of tuition fee only for the subsequent
months i.e., August onwards, if the tuition fee has been
recovered on term basis the institution will retain the
proportionate amount of tuition fee for the month of June
and July only. If however, the tuition fee is recovered
on monthly basis, the student will not be entitled for
any refund of tuition fee and upto the month of July paid
by him. In both the cases, the entire amount of admission
fee, term fee and computer fee, if any, may be retained
by this institution. The library deposit and the computer
deposit, if any, will however be refunded in full.
RULES
CONCERNING ATTENDANCE:
For
granting the terms in each subject, a minimum attendance of
75% of the theory lectures, practicals and tutorials (wherever
prescribed) separately will be required out of the total number
of lectures, practicals and tutorials in the subject conducted
in the terms.
EXAMINATIONS:
(JUNIOR COLLEGE)
- FYJC :
Four examinations are conducted consisting of 2 unit tests
carrying 50 marks
each & 2 semester exams of 100 marks each.
- SYJC :
Two examinations are conducted, one half yearly & the
other Prelims. after
the completion of portion. (100 marks each).
- Promotion
to the SYJC class will be on the basis of the performance
at all the examinations, held during the academic year,
as per the rules prescribed by the Mumbai Board.
- The details
regarding the examinations will be displayed on the notice
board from time to time.
- A student
found to have used unfair means at the examination will
be dealt with as per the rules specified by the Department
of Education.
